Having the Drive to Win

Winning isn’t everything — but wanting to win is!

Wow, Vince, you are so right! And of course, as a Green Bay Packer fan, this is the epitome of success. In sports, they always say it is not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game. However, that is actually a great strategy. When you play the game with passion and the drive to win, you will achieve much greater things. Imagine if you walked out onto the field with the attitude – we’re going to lose. Odds are you will. Business is the same way.

You must want to do well, or in this case win. Your attitude and all things you do toward a goal will factor in greatly. The success of even the smallest thing can be altered just by a winning attitude. When athletes are sick or injured, often they play through it. Why? They want to win. Again, business is the same. You can’t phone it in or call in sick. Or you may lose. When you wake up in the morning and don’t feel well, isn’t it always better if you get on up anyway (unless you are super duper sick, then maybe some RnR is needed).

So you may not win each and everything you do. But wanting to win is half the battle!
