Charlotte Jones Anderson was a powerful speaker, quickly engaging the audience as she shared her experiences and journey beginning with her father, Jerry Jones’ purchase of the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Charlotte shared insights on how she took a struggling brand and reinvented it “to sell seats.” Through determination and hard work, along with many risks, failure was never an option.
Charlotte attributes teamwork as a key strength to her success, recognizing trust as a critical factor in building a strong team. Putting herself aside and focusing on the big picture, Charlotte focused on making others successful, with the end game in mind. Her refreshing approach to leadership builds on the idea that each team member is as important as the other and critical to success of the initiative. In that, it is easy to infer that no matter the business, teamwork is integral to success.
The event was chock full of great women and sessions and was a productive networking venue. I am looking forward to 2012.
